Abstract

This article presents an analysis of Justice Antonio Carlos Ferreira’s career, highlighting his legal and institutional work, marked by social sensitivity and a commitment to democracy. The author emphasizes his time as a public advocate at Caixa Econômica Federal, his work at the Superior Court of Justice – especially in decisions on gender-based violence and consumer rights – and, later, at the Superior Electoral Court. At the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the justice has distinguished himself by his staunch defense of the democratic rule of law, addressing issues such as the infiltration of criminal organizations into political parties, electoral morality, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence in the judiciary. The author emphasizes his technical, coherent, and humanistic approach, reaffirming his commitment to popular sovereignty and the protection of democratic institutions.
